Lori Benton considers herself a "vocal alchemist"...combining vocals, spoken word, lyrics and poetry. Lori is an accomplished vocalist/lyricist, blending blues/jazz/folk and gospel into a unique melange all her own. A master accapella vocalist...as well as ensemble/small group vocals and choral singing. Lori has performed live and in the studio as part of jazz and blues ensembles both electric and acoustic, folk/world music duos and trios, improvisational ensembles, gospel groups, choral work and solo.

Lori has performed and recorded with: guitarist/songwriter Ruth Wyand; guitarist Geno White; her husband J. Jody Janetta; Paul "Woz" Woznicki; guitarist Ernie Trionfo; keyboardist/basssist Joe Bocchetti; guitarist Mark Ricci; pianist/saxophonist Hassan Abdullah; The Collar Brothers; multi-instrumentalist Buddy Leonetti; drummer Roberto Reggio; My Louise and Skinwalker's guitarist/songwriter Chris Lucas; and percussionist Elliott Diamond.
