The music of Adelante is rooted in the improvisational approaches of Modern Jazz and Classical Music. Adelante creates a musical brew that knows no musical boundaries…relishing in the challenge, that all musical styles can be complimentary and weaved together to create something musically and sonically beautiful, new and unique.

Adelante’s musical journey began over 13 years ago with the meeting of musicians J. Jody Janetta and Paul Mimlitsch. Since then Paul has moved on to his own musical work in Evergreen, Colorado…Still collaborating with Jody whenever possible.
Over the years Jody has continued with Adelante in various configurations utilizing a number of world class musicians.
Most recently Jody has collaborated with musical kindred spirit Paul “Woz” Woznicki to form the nucleus of Adelante. Woz is a master of synths/piano/accordian/chromatic harmonica and flute.
J. Jody Janetta and Paul "Woz" Woznicki are alternately joined in Adelante's trio format by bassist Steve Testa. In addition to performing, Adelante is also available for workshops/clinics focusing on the creative process and improvisation in music and art.
Adelante is available for concerts, festivals, workshops/clinics, artist in residence programs, club dates, restaurants/cafes, special events, private affairs, corporate affairs and unique weddings.
